Cleanup with the NGO Hands2Ocean

Betsson in Sweden joined the NGO Hands2Ocean for a cleanup of beautiful lake Mälaren, a stone throw away from Betsson’s Stockholm office. Pro bono divers from Hands2Ocean searched the seabed, and Betsson employees pulled up what they found.

“This is heavy, dirty work, but the divers were absolutely amazing and the Betssonites were relentless in supporting them. It feels good when we can make a difference,” Jonna Danlund Head of ESG said. 🌍

Hands2Ocean is conformed by over 300 volunteers both below and above the water surface who regularly participate. The purpose of the project is to remove toxins from Lake Mälaren/Baltic Sea and to raise public opinion so that people do not continue to throw their garbage into the aquatic environment.
